Excel Academy opened its doors on September 5, 2004 and is an independent pre-kindergarten through 12th grade day school serving the Milwaukee area. The school is committed to instilling a lifelong love of learning. The objective of Excel Academy is t5o graduate students who are prepared for life’s challenges and educated in the skills and values of responsible, constructive people.

At Excel Academy students will develop character, m manners and values as well as time management skills and self-discipline. The curriculum of the school is based on state standards as well as industry skill standards that educators and employers can use collaboratively to accelerate their education improvement efforts.

Excel Academy focuses on the school-to-career initiative that is a business/education partnership that seeks to make a systematic change in Milwaukee’s education system to accomplish tow major objectives

(1) offer young people a broader scope of career options

(2) to help build a better work force for Milwaukee.

Excel Academic is dedicated to:

• Collaborating with community centers, businesses and community partners to advance the personal, educational and career development of students
